Laneway Wraps For 2010
9 February 2010
'Times may have changed at Laneway Festival, but the commitment to amazing acts, unique settings and an unbeatable atmosphere hasn't wavered one bit.' - Fasterlouder
'Awesome' - Mess and Noise
'Three stages of music woven throughout a scenic, tropical-colonial-getaway-meets-level-of-DOOM setting...Yes please.' - The Vine
'Laneway was an overwhelming success...pretty close to musical nirvana' - Sunday Mail
The Laneway Festival is over for another year and, dare we say it, was the best one yet.
We are extremely proud that international artists the calibre of Florence + the Machine, The xx, Daniel Johnston, Mumford & Sons, the Black Lips, The Very Best and every other act on the bill were able to perform at this year's festival. We are just as proud that our local line-up (Sarah Blasko, The Middle East, Dappled Cities, Kid Sam, Eddy Current Suppression Ring etc etc etc) were every bit as classy. Each and every act put on a show-stopping performance and we couldn't be more grateful.
The weekend that was: Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney Laneway Festivals proclaimed the best so far.
3 February 2010
The Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney instalments of the Laneway Festival are done and dusted for another year, and we are pleased to say, were the most successful to date.
Five and a half thousand punters turned out to the Brisbane event on Friday afternoon and were treated to standout performances by newcomers Kid Sam, Hottest 100-toppers Mumford & Sons and the inimitable Dirty Three, amongst others...

Perth: SOLD OUT
3 February 2010
The Perth leg of the national St Jerome’s Laneway Festival has now sold out, meaning that all five cities sold out pre-event!
After making its historic debut in Perth in 2009, the festival now welcomes a capacity crowd in only its second year – an amazing response.
Returning to the Perth Cultural Centre, Laneway 2010 is set to again be the most talked about festival of the season in WA, starring an unparalleled line-up that traverses greats from Florence & The Machine to The xx, recent Triple J Hottest 100 winners Mumford & Sons through to Aussie heroes Kid Sam and The Middle East.
Thank you Perth for embracing Australia’s finest urban street festival.
See you there!
